Pretty Little Liars Post 2

So this weeks episode of Pretty Little Liar's Please, Do Talk About Me When I'm Gone (perfect title in reference to Allison) was all about Allison's memorial. This episode was also about the return of new, old and familiar faces. Detective Wilden, Allison's Brother, Emily's Father and Ian Thomas (Ryan Meriman) as Melissa's something. Each week new questions are asked and rarely answered. This week was no different-every episode see's one or more of the girls hiding something-but this week we find out that Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily are not the only liars, Allison is one too. This week's episode did not showcase anything out of the ordinary, the continous growth of relationships with Hanna and Lucas is still cute and slowly evolving-just as soon as Hanna is okay with letting go of her popularity. But who says she really needs too? Emily and Maya take their relationship semi-public. But like all couples with a military parent-this relationship will be back under wraps which will surely drive a wedge between Maya and Emily.
The return of Detective Pain-in-the Ass- i mean Wilden, had everyone on edge-but not because of the secret because of his cocky attitude. As well as Allison's brother-who within the first 5 minutes of his introduction can see that he is carrying the weight of his sister's death on his shoulder's-however that does not eliminate that there is something off with him.
The biggest "surprise" although i use the term loosely- is that Allison blamed Jenna's accedent on Spencer. My first reaction went something along the lines of, "that bitch!" But-as i remember watching the Pilot there was something off about the way Spencer walked into the barn and announced "Allison's missing". I love Spencer i find her fantastic and real-but there may be something more that she is hiding-do i think she is "A" no-but she is defiantely hiding something.
What i am afraid of? Aria's father and Hanna's mother doing the sideways tango. Did anyone else feel the sexual vibes coming off them?

All in all the episode was another success. 3.5/5 for sure.
What i'm looking forward to in future episodes. Lucas and Hanna-there is great, wonderful potential there. Aria and Ezra figuring it out. And actually having an idea who 'A' is...but that wont happen....yet.

Post comments below-tell me your thoughts on last nights episode.

Pretty Little Liars-Tell the Truth-Episode 7

This weeks episode of Pretty Little Liars-The Homecoming Hangover was another great episode. Each week they continue to get better and better and the mystery of who A really is seems even further from being figured out. This weeks episode opened where lasts weeks left off-with Emily's safety unknown. Almost instantly we are shown that she is lying in the back of Toby's (Keegan Allen) car, bleeding from the head and unconscious. I assume this was shown to make it seem as though Toby is Allison's killer-but did anyone else, besides myself find that unconvincing? I sure did. There is ALMOST something redeemable in Toby and from tonight's episode it appears we will not be finding it out. But more on that later.

Once again i find Troian Bellisario (Spencer) to be absolutely fantastic. I admit watching the Pilot i was unsure about her but she keeps getting better and better. Among the three other girls she portrays emotion and passion in such a relatable way that i am always hoping for her to have more screen time. Shay Mitchell (Emily) is a close second. I have to admit that i was and still am very much feeling the relationship between Spencer and Wren-but unfortuntely he is no longer around-and i feel his absence was not dealt with properly. Needles to say i am definatley feeling the Spencer/Alex relationship now. Diego Gonzalez absolutely brings a lightness and ease to Spencer and i am also convinced that he has an accent Diego? anyone-just saying.

The rest of the episode also showed some new developments in the relationship department. Brandon Robinson who plays Darren the computer nerd-is exactly that a nerd and a cute one. And his budding friendship with Hannah has me even more glued to the screen-this relationship is without a doubt going to be one that is going to be a game changer for Hannah and her popularity and i cannot wait. As well as Emily finally coming to terms with her sexuality and feelings for Maya. (Bianca Lawson- Heads up to those who recognize her name and face-she played Kendra on Buffy the Vampire Slayer-(Another heads up i am a ridiculously huge fan of Buffy-and Buffy is everywhere so watch out for my weekly Buffy reminder) I have to say that i find this relationship to be very real-although not completely original still has a strong presence within the show.

The girls decision to get rid of Toby's file was not a bad idea-what was a bad idea, throwing them into the water. How in God's name does that seem like a good idea? I could've smacked Aria in the head for her haste decision-of course they are not going to fall to pieces or sink to the bottom-A is going to find them.

Every week i plan to give my opinion on who A really is-right now i have 2 or 3 possibles. I was listening to Lucy Hale (Aria) on Ryan Secrest and she said that in the books A turns out to be Hannah's bitchy friend (already saw that coming), but the show will be doing it differently. I half like this and half don't. I don't like the idea of them changing who A is because Hannah's bitchy friend makes absolute sense. She was never popular with Allison around- but was friends with Hannah-so she would have all the information and gossip about all of the girls. She makes the most sense. What i do like about this-is the mystery which is exactly what the show is about. At one point my money was on Toby-but if tonight's ep says anything-he's dead-so not Toby. So as of now my money is either on Jenna-who i am convinced is fake-blind or the Detective sleeping with Hannah's mother-just snow balling.

All in all the ep was great a solid 4/5. Favorite scene has to be the Dance/Make out between Spencer and Alex-who doesn't love an inpromto dance?

Stay tuned for next weeks review!
